Tiger Woods Hair Loss

Is Tiger Woods Losing His Hair?

The  world’s most dominate golfer in the last 10 years has had a rough 2010. The controversal golfer finished his 2010 season without a single win in a tournament. Many sports pundits predicted it would be tough for Mr. Woods to focus and compete at the highest levels required to win major golf tournaments given the tabloid and marital problems and issues that have surfaced over the last 13 months.

In Mr. Wood’s last chance at a tournament win, he participated in the 2010 Chevron World Classic  Golf Tournament which supports the Tiger Woods Foundation. Tiger had control of the entire tournament going into the final day on Sunday. US open champion and Ryder Cup hero Graeme McDowell was trailing Tiger and the two played a very exciting 18 holes to end up with a tie, due to some very skilled putting and chipping shots by McDowell. After 18 the two players were tied and entered into a playoff which Graeme McDowell won.

Mr. Woods has been showing signs of stress lately and many people have noticed that he seems to be experiencing rapid hair loss, especially in the last year. Mr. Woods recent signs of balding may be a coincidence, but there is a strong correlation between extreme stress levels and rapid short term hair loss. With everything Mr. Woods has been going through in the last year or so his receding hair line and hair loss is probably the least of his worries, but the folks at Zenagen always care. Mr. Woods we hope that your 2011 and on is better than 2010 and that you relax and recoup over the winter break to come back to golf as the dominate golfer you have been in the past.

Tom Brady’s Hair Loss, Rumors.

Is Tom Brady Losing His Hair?

The super bowl poster child of the New England Patriots may be facing an issue with his famous locks. The quarterback has been in the news for his model girlfriend, his athletic achievements, having a child, and even “looking like a girl” (quote Randy Moss) but his recent sighting outside the offices of one of New England’s premier hair loss restoration surgeon. Which has lead to media speculation of his hair line.

The Atlanta Journal Constituition ran  a recent article regarding Brady’s hair loss speculation listed below

Is Tom Brady Balding?

With his chiseled good looks, Super Bowl trophies and supermodel wife, the New England Patriots quarterback sure seems to have hit the genetic jackpot. According to one report, though, Brady is facing the same struggle as millions of ordinary Joes.

Hair loss.

The National Enquirer reported that Brady’s car was spotted outside Leonard Hair Transplant Associates in Cranston, R.I., on Nov. 9. That would be the office of Dr. Robert Leonard, described on his website as “New England’s foremost authority on hair restoration.”

“Guys just don’t want to be bald,” said Dr. Raymond Konior of Premiere Hair Restoration in Chicago. “Great heads of hair are perceived as being stronger people, better-looking people.”

Leonard’s office wouldn’t confirm if Brady was a patient, saying in a statement that, to protect patients’ privacy, “We don’t comment on, confirm, deny or otherwise discuss matters related to our client list.” But if Brady is having hair restoration, Konior said it’s highly unlikely he’s doing it with five weeks left in the regular season and the playoffs looming.

A call to Brady’s agent, Don Yee, wasn’t immediately returned.

Hair restoration is a surgical procedure and, like any other, requires recovery time. While it varies by procedure and patient, it’s usually at least a week.

Procedures can last anywhere from four to 14 hours, depending on how much hair is being moved, and can cost between $5,000 and $18,000.

“Once it’s healed, that hair acts like it was always there,” Konior said. “It’s like a broken bone. Once it’s healed, it’s healed.”

The Enquirer said Brady’s wife, Gisele Bundchen, was behind the do-over. When Brady was razzed about his shaggy, Justin Bieber-like look earlier this season, he indicated it was his wife’s doing.

But a bad cut is one thing, a surgical cut is another, said Michael Shaun Corby, a celebrity hair stylist and global creative director for Alterna Professional Haircare in Los Angeles.

“A lot of people think only women have a bad hair day, but men can be affected just as much,” Corby said. “Men have the same problems, they just don’t feel attractive if they don’t have a good hair day.”
